The Hive School adopts the use of the British Curriculum in the Early Years section and an integration of the British and Nigerian Curriculum in the Primary Years section.   This is aimed at offering quality and relevant education to the pupils bearing in mind their various abilities and differences and to cater for every child’s need emotionally, physically, socially and intellectually.

PRIMARY YEARS CLASSES
We offer classes from Primary 1 – 4 (ages 5-9 years) with the following subjects:

    Our Nursery offers classes for 2 – 4 year olds;

CRÈCHE
Our Crèche is a unique childcare concept designed with parents, children and the business community in mind. The crèche team have a wealth of experience in childcare and provide professional and quality services in a warm, friendly and relaxed environment. There are well equipped rooms for children aged 6 weeks to 24 months with as low staff/child ratio as possible. The Crèche has two rooms for different age groups;

*   Sweet Honey – 6 weeks – 12 months
*   Busy Bees – 12 – 24 months

 

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE
Due to the traffic situation in our locality, The Hive School offers Before school Care. Parents who leave early to beat traffic have the opportunity to drop off their children while our experienced staff take proper care of them. This service includes;

  • Bathing and brushing for the child.
  • Dressing up the child.
  • Feeding the child.
  • Adequate supervision during play.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE
Work nature could be a factor for some parents to close late. Bearing this in mind, the school offers After School Care to cater for the children whose parents will not be available to pick up their children at the close of the day. After School Care service includes;

  • Supervised Nap
  • Feeding (food from home)
  • Home-work assistance/supervision
  • Change of cloths
  • Enjoyable activities such as painting, craft work, dance etc.
